HTC Desire 626G+ Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 626G+ benchmarkAs you might know by now, if you have read my unboxing post that this phone does not have the chipset it ‘supposed’ to have instead it has an old chipset. So obviously it’s not going to set the benchmarks on fire. Still, had to test it so here are the results. And full system information shows that the chipset is Mediatek 6592 not 6752.

Gaming

Mediatek MT9592 isn’t a bad chipset for gaming, it has octa core Cortex A7 processors clocked at roughly 1.7 GHz and Mali 450MP GPU. Which is decent for gaming as you can see in the gaming video below, but still it’s nowhere close to the performance of Mediatek MT6752. And here are some more problems for gamers, as this phone comes with Android 4.4.2 it doesn’t have the ability to install anything on micro SD card that means you are stuck with only around 5.3GB of storage for games. It also does not support move to SD and USB OTG.
