Karbonn A25 review

Karbonn A25 is just another android smartphone in the market, but it has something under it’s belt which makes it a little different from other phones and that is its price. Karbonn A25 is the cheapest dual core 5 inch screen phone currently available in Indian market.

Now i am going to break the review down in points so that it would be easy to digest.

First up is phone functions, the call quality of this phone is pretty decent the loudspeaker is not that loud but it’s clear

This is what the calling screen looks like, and if you take a look at that pause button closely, it actually pauses the conversation meaning puts the call on hold, very handy function,

Below are the camera samples of Karbonn A25 in various light conditions, and i am not going to put the video recording sample because it’s not worth putting up cause it’s of 3gp quality, that’s the only quality it supports.

If you think photos are out of focus, no they are not. This phone doesn’t have auto focus and it’s fixed focus is very bad as you can see, all in all camera of this device is negligible.

Next is Music & Videos, well this phone lacks bass, bass is there but it’s not that punchy Canvas viva has better bass than this. It has sound effects in it’s settings which contains settings like Equalizer and others. The music player is gingerbread one not the ice cream sandwich one for more on music and video playback just watch the review video.

Gaming performance of this device is decent, it played most of the games without crashing that’s a pretty good thing for a phone with this price, occasional lags are normal with phones in this price range especially when they are running android on 512MB RAM. For games in action watch the video.

Web browser is standard ice cream sandwich one with tabbed browsing and this ics so this will support flash if you could find the adobe flash app.

Also i want to tell you guys about one thing, and that is this micro USB cable take a look at this

So as you can see the micro usb on the right is a little longer than the normal micro usb cable, the cable on the right is Karbonn A25’s micro usb cable which came in the box. What i want to tell you guys is do not loose that cable unless you have another cable with the same length cause it won’t charge with any other cable other cables won’t even fit in its jack so keep that in mind.

So all in all minus the 3G and Camera of this device, it’s a pretty good device with decent app and gaming performance for the price range.
