I am not going to compare Canvas Knight and Canvas Gold rather i am going to tell you the main difference between the two. Except for the looks, Canvas Gold and Canvas Knight seems too similar in specification. But the devil is in the details here. Both these phones are very different from each other. They are somewhat available for the same price though. Primary differences between both the phones are given below.

- Micromax Canvas knight has 5 inch full HD IPS LCD screen.
- Micromax Canvas Gold has 5.5 inches full HD IPS LCD screen.

- Old Micromax Canvas Knight had 2GHz Mediatek MTK MT6592T SOC while the new one has the same SOC but clocked at 1.7GHz.
- Micromax Canvas Gold on the other hand has 2GHz Mediatek MTK MT6592T SOC.

- Current price of Canvas Knight varies from site to site but on average it is available for around 21,000 Rupees.
- Canvas Gold is available for around 20,000 Rupees.
Apart from all these differences, they both have a lot of similarities too like both the phones have 2GB RAM, same 2300mAh battery, 32GB internal storage and both are available in gold colour.

On official Canvas knight website there’s written 4.4.2 OS, but old users haven’t received update and you too have mentioned 4.2.2
Canvas Knight New version has Kitkat and old devices has update in Service center or you can flash it by yourselves, and Canvas Gold has LTPS LCD Display..
