Buy iPhone 5c for 36,000 Rupees

Well… well… well… what do we have here a recently launched iPhone for such a reasonable price, well not exactly reasonable but looking at Apple’s official prices this price looks quite suspicious.

Ok so here’s the deal, below is a snapshot of a currently running deal on ebay India. According to the deal you can buy the iPhone 5c for not exactly 36,000 rupees but for 36,363 rupees or for around $600, sounds like a good deal to me. But here’s the catch, these are not official Apple prices, of-course not. As iPhone 5c is not even released in India yet, So if you buy this phone you will not get any official warranty or after sell support from Apple. The ebay seller is giving you 6 months seller warranty though, on both hardware and software. What will happen is, If something happens to your phone in these 6 months you send the phone back to the seller then the seller will send them back to the apple store or to any retail outlets from which the seller imports the phones. There’s one more ebay seller who is selling the phone at around same price but with no warranty at all.

Ebay sellers have a tendency of monopolizing the prices of soon-to-be-launched phones in India. They sells at very high prices right before the official launch of the phone, the thing is if they are selling iPhone 5c at 36,000 right now that means either the iPhone 5c is really going to launch at around 30,000 rupees or they are selling illegally stolen iPhones or they are Chinese copies or its just because of ebay offers. It’s all in my head of-course, but it sure looks weird. Either way if Apple really launched iPhone 5c for 30,000 rupees then free McDonalds french fries to everyone who comments on this post, from Rajnikanth.

There are speculations going on that iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s is going to launch in India this month i.e, October 2013. Well, we will see about that.
