What do you get when you learn from your mistakes? Improvement. What do you get when you put Snapdragon 650 inside a phone? you get a roaring dragon of a phone. Snapdragon has never really been true to its name when it comes to mid range processors but this time they have learned from their mistakes and made a beast of a processor.
HTC Desire 626 is a phone that is quite late to the party. If HTC has launched it last year with the same price it would have been a big hit. But now even this lower mid-range segment is very crowded with phones with the same chip-set as this phone. Anyway, better late than never i guess.
HTC One E9s is a decent smartphone. It has got decent features. Decent build quality. Decent camera quality. That’s a lot of ‘decent’ don’t you think? Well, duh. It’s a mid range phone remember? You can’t expect greatness at that price, unless its some company’s flagship phone on fire-sale.
Sony Xperia M5 is yet another victim of Sony’s ridiculous pricing. If they had priced it fairly the phone would have been a big hit. But now nobody is even going to consider it not until its price comes down at least. Such a sad fate for such a good phone.
If Sony had updated the front camera of C4 they would have probably called it Xperia C5. But that wasn’t enough for them so they decided to give it an ‘ultra update’ and made the big screen even bigger. So now, instead of getting an incremental update you’ve now got an ultra version of the ‘missing link'(Xperia C5). Basically what Xperia C5 Ultra is, is it is Xperia C4 on steroids.
It’s been a long time coming. First Lenovo phone that i wanted to buy was Lenovo Vibe X2. For some reason, didn’t buy it. Second Lenovo phone that i wanted to buy was Lenovo A7000, wasn’t able to buy it in time. I guess this is what they call ‘third time lucky’.
By explosive i mean powerful. So don’t think it’s actually going to explode or anything. Although it’s not far behind from Sony Xperia M4 Aqua in terms of ‘getting hot’. So who knows maybe it’ll… actually… explo… Just joking.
