Nexus 5 is here, literally. Unlike previous Nexus phones Google is going to launch Nexus 5 pretty soon in India. Now you might ask, how’d i know that, well they have already announced a solid price for it on its play store page. So that’s a pretty good hint if not the confirmation itself. Google is saying “It’s the fastest and slimmest Nexus phone ever made”. Google is also saying that “It is precision-built from strong materials” exactly what materials are used is not mentioned. It is already on sale in USA for $349, 16GB variant.
Although there are many phones available with the same specification in the market today but at a very hefty price point. What Nexus 5 new brings to the table is the brand new Android 4.4 KitKat OS and Snapdragon 800 processor at such a price point that you’ve never seen before. I am a little confused though, Why is LG still making Nexus phones doesn’t Google owns Motorola, why aren’t they making their own Nexus devices?
