Sony Xperia E3 Unboxing

Sony Xperia E3Sony Xperia E3 is just another smartphone with Snapdragon 400 chipset but if you compare it with similarly priced phones from Samsung, HTC, Microsoft/Nokia then you’ll see that for the price it is not that bad. But if you compare it with octa-core smartphones from local companies then you might not even want to look at it. Sony should’ve collaborated with Google and made this an Android One smartphone. It would’ve sold like hot cakes just because of its design and build quality alone. Even at 10,000 Rupees.

I hope Sony makes Android One smartphones in the future. Coming back to E3, there are two version of E3 single sim and dual sim. The one i unboxed is single sim. I strongly believe this should’ve been the successor of Xperia M instead of Xperia M2. Its price point fits Xperia M perfectly. But it isn’t, it is the successor of Xperia E1 instead. Its got a 4.5 inches IPS LCD display of FWVGA resolution, with scratch resistant glass on top.

5MP auto focus camera with image stabilization. Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM, 2330mAh battery which is non removable. 4GB of internal storage expandable up-to 32GB, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, it is only 8.5mm thick and made of rubberised material. You can see more about that in the video below. Price of E3 is 11,000 Rupees(Approx $180) for single sim and 12,000 Rupees(Approx $200) for dual sim.
