According to reports, two of PlusAI’s branded trailers were recently stolen from an outdoor holding area and later recovered by authorities at a different location. However, the criminals quickly realized the joke was entirely on them. Instead of housing millions of dollars in sought-after enterprise silicon, each of the stolen trailers was packed with 20,000 pounds of ballast sand.

As it turns out, PlusAI utilizes simulated cargo loads—specifically heavy bags of sand—to conduct real-world research and development testing.
