HTC Desire 526G+ Unboxing

HTC Desire 526G+ UnboxingFor 10,000 Rupees name one phone that is not from a ‘local brand’ and which could come close to this phone in terms of performance? That’s right, there is none. There’s no phone from the ‘traditional’ smartphone makers like Samsung, Sony that could compete with this phone performance wise. And that is also the reason why people are preferring local branded phones over those non performing over priced phones from international companies.

HTC Desire 620G Review

HTC Desire 620G ReviewI don’t know what to write about this phone anymore. I bought it solely because i thought it comes with full HTC Sense 6.0 now that i know, it doesn’t. There’s really not much difference left between this phone and HTC Desire 616. You can also compare it with Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime as it comes with a front 5 MP camera. But then again, it’s not really a selfie camera. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad camera. Its just it does not have the same features as a selfie camera. Even the octa core Mediatek MTK 6592 chipset isn’t that special anymore. As it is easily available in phones below 10,000 Rupees or approx $160 USD. Anyway for the extra price you are going to get HTC’s name and quality if nothing else.

HTC Desire 620G Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 620G benchmarkThe benchmark performance of HTC Desire 620G is not much different from any other phone with Mediatek 6592 chipset. Although it kind of under performed for some reason as you can see in the Antutu score below. Usually phones with same chipset score around 25,000 points but Desire 620G only managed to get around 23,000 points same as HTC Desire 616 but that one was under clocked to 1.4 GHz while Desire 620G has 1.7 GHz. Maybe just 1GB of RAM is the reason of that. And this lack of performance is kind of visible in the phones UI it sometimes stutter or even slows down or does not respond for a second or so.

HTC Desire 620G Unboxing

HTC Desire 620G
HTC Desire 620G is just like HTC Desire 616 an affordable Octacore smartphone from HTC but the former is much more complete than the later one actually. HTC Desire 616 felt like HTC rushed to launch an affordable Octacore smartphone. It came with only 4GB of internal storage and HTC Sense version 5.5 which had some bugs. While HTC Desire 620G feels like much more polished device. As it comes with more internal storage, 5MP front camera and non under clocked chipset, all for a very attractive price.

Meet Nokia N1 – Why? Because Nokia Refuse To Die

Nokia N1So this is what was inside the black box that Nokia was teasing. A tablet. And that too a tablet based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. And it looks pretty good. It has an 7.9 inches IPS LCD display of 2K resolution with Gorilla Glass 3 and it is fully laminated(which is a big thing in India especially when it comes to mobile phones). Although it is not announced for India yet. It is announced to be available in China first at the price of $249.

HTC Desire 820 Review – Pretty Good

HTC Desire 820HTC Desire 820 is a very good update over HTC Desire 816. Which should have been never launched around Rs. 25,000 in the first place. It was just the matter of chip-set in case of HTC Desire 816 too, i mean like how could they launch such a good phone with such a pathetic chip-set and then ask a premium price for it? I just can’t get it out of my head. But anyway, that’s past now. And HTC has done a very good job with its successor HTC Desire 820. That’s all that matters.

HTC Desire 820 Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 820 Antutu BenchmarkAs you can see in the photo above HTC Desire 820 scored almost 28,000 points in Antutu benchmark all thanks to the new Snapdragon 615 chip-set. It is not a bad score for supposedly upper mid-range phone. It even beat HTC One in ‘Multi-core’ and ‘Metal’ test of Vellamo benchmark and in benchmarks like Quadrant and Nenamark 2 the frames were like fixed at 60 frames per second. This is the first mid-range chipset from Snapdragon that has performed this well in benchmarks. Otherwise chip-sets like Snapdragon 400… don’t even want to remember.
