HTC Desire 526G+ Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 526G+ BenchmarkName one phone. I know i did this before. But here’s the question again. Name one phone except this one for around 10,000 Rupees that can score more than 30,000 points in Antutu. I don’t think there is one. I don’t know what they did. But it’s like they have figured out how to use the full potential of this Mediatek MT6592 chipset.

HTC Desire 620G Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 620G benchmarkThe benchmark performance of HTC Desire 620G is not much different from any other phone with Mediatek 6592 chipset. Although it kind of under performed for some reason as you can see in the Antutu score below. Usually phones with same chipset score around 25,000 points but Desire 620G only managed to get around 23,000 points same as HTC Desire 616 but that one was under clocked to 1.4 GHz while Desire 620G has 1.7 GHz. Maybe just 1GB of RAM is the reason of that. And this lack of performance is kind of visible in the phones UI it sometimes stutter or even slows down or does not respond for a second or so.

HTC Desire 820 Benchmark & Gaming Performance

HTC Desire 820 Antutu BenchmarkAs you can see in the photo above HTC Desire 820 scored almost 28,000 points in Antutu benchmark all thanks to the new Snapdragon 615 chip-set. It is not a bad score for supposedly upper mid-range phone. It even beat HTC One in ‘Multi-core’ and ‘Metal’ test of Vellamo benchmark and in benchmarks like Quadrant and Nenamark 2 the frames were like fixed at 60 frames per second. This is the first mid-range chipset from Snapdragon that has performed this well in benchmarks. Otherwise chip-sets like Snapdragon 400… don’t even want to remember.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Benchmark & Gaming

Screenshot_2014-10-04-18-36-29Honestly i was expecting a lot from Snapdragon 410. But as suspected it turned out to be just an incremental update of Snapdragon 400. If you have seen my unboxing video, you might have seen Galaxy Grand Prime’s Antutu score already. It scored just around 2000 points more than Snapdragon 400. The real disappointment however for me at least was the gaming. It really didn’t perform well in that department. It performed even worse than Snapdragonn 400 in some games.

Sony Xperia E3 Benchmark & Gaming Performance

Sony Xperia E3 BenchmarkSony Xperia E3 turned out to be quite the performer in benchmarks. But a phone with Snapdragon 400 chipset and at this price, i didn’t expect it to perform this good. If you look at the antutu screenshot below, you’ll see that it scored 18,000 points. In 3Dmark it was most of the time above 20 FPS, not bad.

Nokia X2 Review – Too Late

Nokia X2 Review Nokia X2 and Semi-Android phones like these could have saved Nokia. I know these are big words. But you never know. If they have launched Android smartphones with their PureView camera technology. It surely would’ve been a big hit. I know that they hated the initial version of Android but to save itself even Apple shook hands with Microsoft at one point. To survive you’ve got to make hard decisions.

Xiaomi Mi3 Benchmark & Gaming Performance

Xiaomi Mi3 benchmarkI have seen quite a few Xiaomi Mi3 smartphones that crossed 35,000 mark in Antutu. But for some reason, my Mi3 was never able to cross it, the highest it could reach is around 30,000. You can see that in the screenshot below. Even after having more than 500MB RAM free, it couldn’t cross the the 35,000 mark. In GFX bench it performed better than all of the smartphones, i’ve ever tested. Then again i have never tested a smartphone with Snapdragon 800 before.
