Sony Xperia T3 – Another Snapdragon 400 Blunder

Sony xperia r3
Oh, Snapdragon 400 when will leave us alone? Sony Xperia T3 is the newest Xperia that is launched by Sony. It has got everything right from HD Triluminous display to a very slim body. But! Snapdragon 400! Even the last year’s Mediatek MTK6589 is better than this SOC. How hard is that to understand? Dammit! A serious suggestion to all the companies out there. Please stop putting this SOC inside your 20,000-25,000 Rupees phone. It’s not worth that price at all!

If they put this SOC inside phones that ranges between Rs. 10,000-15,000 then i can understand. But between Rs. 20,000-25,000. Hell, no! Just look at Xperia T3 sans its processor. It seems like such a good phone. It has got 5.3 Inches Triluminious display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 (277 PPI). It’s only 7mm thick. 8MP auto-focus rear facing camera with Exmor RS sensor. 1.1MP front camera. Full HD video recording, image & video stabilization. It even has the latest version of Android, KitKat(Android 4.4.2).

1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, out of which 5GB will be accessible for the user, it is expandable up-to 32GB. And last but not the least 2500 mAh battery, Sony’s suggested talk-time is around 12 hours. This phone could have been way better with a decent SOC.

If the price of this phone turns out to be more than 21,000 Rupees then it’s not even worth to look at. Anything below 20,000 would still worth a shot. No info on official price and release date in India, yet. But unfortunately i have a bad feeling that Sony is going to price it above 21,000 Rupees.
