Apple iPhone 5c is officially official

This is iPhone 5c, it’s not cheapand it is one of the worst kept secrets in the Apple’s iPhone launch history.

Key Specs of iPhone 5c :-
– Exactly the same as iPhone 5 except the outer shell.
– Custom made Apple A6 processor.
– iOS 7, 1GB Ram.
– Triple-Core PowerVR SGX 543MP3 GPU.
– 8 Megapixel Camera with 5 element lens, BSI Sensor, LED flash and 1.2 Megapixel front camera.
– 9mm thick, 4 inch Retina Display, 132 grams weight.
– Wifi a/b/g/n, dual band, 3g, Bluetooth 4.0, nano-sim, lte(not available everywhere).
– Available in only 16 and 32 GB only.
– Battery life approx 10 hours, Slightly bigger than iPhone 5’s battery in capacity.
– Price = 549 dollars + taxes or approx 35,000 rupees + taxes.

As you can see in the picture above, it is going to be available in 5 colours and black is not one of them which is unacceptable at least for me (I don’t buy phones because of their colours) they are smartphones not candies for crying out loud, but if you are a colour lover you’ve got choices now which is a good thing.

It is made of plastic mainly but inside its the same steel frame which gives it a very tough feel. if you have ever used iPhone 3GS or 3G it’s the same feeling, It doesn’t feel like plastic it feels like a pebble stone or ceramic.

Apple hasn’t give any official information on release date in India or Price, But it is going to be available around 35,000 rupees whenever it’s get released here. Which is in no way cheap as for what people were expecting, i was expecting it to be between 400-500 dollars but not above 500. Basically what Apple doing is cutting manufacturing costs, because every year they release a new iPhone and cut the price of previous iPhone by 100 dollars but this time they decided to give the previous model a sort-of remake or something with a new name(actually it’s just an alphabet) and a plastic body instead of aluminium body, which ultimately saves manufacturing cost for Apple. So, that makes this iPhone actually cheap, but not for us, for Apple.

Oh and by the way Apple iPhone 5 is officially discontinued(only iPhone which gets discontinued in only one year) this could mean anything either stores increase or decrease its price, its up-to them now. iPhone 4s is now going to get a price cut in India which is a good thing for all those who are waiting to buy a powerful enough iPhone but do not want to spend a ridiculous amount of money and iPhone 4s still looks and feel more premium than iPhone 5c anyways, although you will have to satisfy with 3.5 inch screen if you choose to go for iPhone 4s.
