Benchmark performance of Micromax Canvas HD Plus was decent. In one of the benchmarks, it even beat the Samsung Galaxy S4, in just one benchmark though. But, still not bad for a phone that costs only 12,000 Rupees. Antutu again mistook another budget phone as a high end smartphone just because of the powerful chipset inside it. As you can already tell by the image above

Since Micromax Canvas Gold A300 has an octa core processor and that too clocked at 2GHz. It is supposed to perform good in benchmarks. Looking at the price it’s available at in the market. I would call it respectable. In one particular benchmark though. The GFX bench/Geekbench, it didn’t perform well. But then again it was competing with pretty high end phones in that benchmark. It still tried its best. The phone gets a warm even while running benchmarks because benchmark tests that run at full HD resolution use more resouces. Hence, more heat.
Karbonn A50S or Karbonn Smart A50S costs only a fraction of the smartphones with which it was competing in benchmarks. In benchmarks like Nenamark 2 it came right below Samsung Galaxy S2. A phone that costs more than 4 times of Karbonn A50S. And in antutu as you can see above in the photo above it scored more than 9000 points. That’s suprising right? But wait, it scored that much because of the Mediatek MTK MT6572 chipset. It is an old chipset and , hence it is optimized for the antutu benchmark. So, not so surprising.
If you see the photo above, you’ll notice that Antutu think the smartphone in the picture is an expensive high end smartphone. I don’t know why is that? But one thing i can tell you that despite of being very inexpensive, this phone performs pretty good in the benchmarks. It even beat HTC One X in Antutu. What else do you want from a 7,000 Rupees phone. The Antutu benchmark that i ran on this phone wasn’t the normal version. It was the ‘X’ version of it and still managed to score pretty respectively.
You can’t expect much from Moto E in terms of performance. It’s one of those situations in which you should just gladly accept what you are getting for the money. Although, despite of being a budget device it still managed to beat HTC One X, which is not a budget device by any means. During 3DMark test something unusual was happening. The device keeps hitting 30FPS for brief moments in some segments of the test.
