Nokia was supposed to confirm the leaked Nokia 6 inch screen phone known as Lumia 1520 and its new Asha line up, but instead they announced a little more. Nokia in its Abu Dhabi Keynote unveiled another 6 inch screen phone called Lumia 1320, which is supposedly the mid-range version of 1520. It is supposed to launch in Asian and European markets first in early 2014. While Lumia 1520 will release in Europe, China, HongKong, Germany, UK first no news of it to release in India as of now. Nokia also announced a tablet called Lumia 2520(i think the bigger the number the screen, anyone else?) anyways, its a 10.1 inch screen tablet which runs on Windows RT… Windows RT… Windows RT… Yes you read that right, may God help that tablet. Nokia also announced an update exclusively for Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices dubbed as ‘Lumia Black’ Nokia Lumia 1520 will ship with it, Lumia 1320 will get it later along with other Lumia devices. confirmed devices which will get Lumia black update are Nokia’s Lumia 920 series and 1020, Nothing solid on Lumia black update for other Lumia devices like 720, 625, 820, 620, 520.

Hugh Jackman the choice of Micromax
Hugh Jackman has been selected by Micromax, currently the second biggest smartphone manufacturer in India as brand ambassador to promote its products especially smartphones and more importantly its Canvas series. Hugh Jackman is no small name when it comes to international film industry(Even if somebody in India or anywhere in world don’t know who Hugh Jackman is, I am damn sure they do know who “Wolverine” is), which raises a question, is Micromax betting to go beyond Asian or Indian shores and trying to go truly international, say including Australia, America, Europe on their sales radar? Well, only Micromax and Time(as in literally, not the magazine) will tell. Currently he is teasing a new Canvas phone in a teaser video called “Canvas Turbo”
The official prices of iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s in India are out and they don’t sound that good but i am going to tell you anyways, Reliance or RCom and Bharti Airtel or just Airtel both going to offer iPhone 5c starting at 41,900 Rupees and iPhone 5s starting at more than half a lakh Rupees, to be precise 5s is priced at 54,000 Rupees. If you are interested in either of the device at the prices that you’ve just read, then be my guest and run to your nearest Airtel or RCom store to “pre register” one, i never knew there’s a thing called “pre – registeration” in this world, i mean like registration is already kind-off pre booking your thing in advance, confirming that you will get the thing no matter what. Breaking News : Twitter’s Event Parrot
Twitter has revealed its own ‘Breaking News’ system called “Event Parrot” just like a real parrot, this will tell you whatever you teach it. Well, not exactly but its still the same system, instead of you, there’s twitter and taking the place of a parrot is twitter’s digital parrot. In place of useless blabbering this event parrot will tell you about what’s happening in the world or most likely what’s ‘breaking’ in the world, breaking as in the news, not literally , sometimes ‘breaking news’ becomes quite literal though. Breaking News in only 140 alphabets, not bad. All you have to do is follow the event parrot on twitter and it will alerts all its followers with the latest and the greatest. This might the first parrot in the world which ‘tweets’.
The successor of very popular Asha 501 in India leaks again through a very famous leaker known as ‘evleaks’, and its everything but official. From the recently leaked images it looks like the home/back button is now capacitive instead of tactile like the previous 501, it’s also consist of LED flash, WiFi and hopefully 3G. The screen size looks the same as Asha 501. There’s also one more Asha phone phone named as 502 which is supposedly the single sim version of the same phone. All these new Asha phones are allegedly going to go official at Nokia event on 22nd of October.
