HTC Desire 620G is just like HTC Desire 616 an affordable Octacore smartphone from HTC but the former is much more complete than the later one actually. HTC Desire 616 felt like HTC rushed to launch an affordable Octacore smartphone. It came with only 4GB of internal storage and HTC Sense version 5.5 which had some bugs. While HTC Desire 620G feels like much more polished device. As it comes with more internal storage, 5MP front camera and non under clocked chipset, all for a very attractive price.
There’s also HTC Desire 620 which comes with Snapdragon 410 and 4G connectivity. Desire 620 is the direct competitor of Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime as they are both available for around same exact price with almost same specs. But Desire 620G comes with Mediatek 6592 chipset which gives it a slight edge in performance over its Snapdragon version. Apart from the processor/chipset rest of the specs are 1GB RAM, 5 inch HD display, 8GB internal storage, 2100 mAh battery, Dual sim (micro sim), Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi. MRP of this phone is close to 18,000 Rupees or approx $300 USD but it’s available for around 15,000 Rupees or approx $250 USD in the market and online.
