As you may have already know that the US unlocked version of iPhone 5c cost exactly 549 dollars no more no less and that’s a fact, when we convert this price in Indian rupees it comes around more or less 35,000 Rs. Now, here comes the interesting part, as techshout.com pointed out, if you go to saholic.com and dig deep into their source code of iPhone 5c page or you can look at the screenshot below, You will find that they have given 16 GB iPhone 5c a price of 30,000 Rs. Now, this could very well be a place holder price and nothing more but if it’s true then we could be in for a treat here as 30,000 Rs is still not affordable by any means, but it’s still better than previous prices that Apple had set for their iPhones especially in India.
To add more base to it, If you go to the iPhone 5s page and click “view page source” or look at the screenshot below, you will find a ridiculous price of 52,900 Rs for 16 GB iPhone 5s, which, for some reason looks more believable to me knowing Apple’s pricing history in India. Keep in mind, this iPhone 5c price is just a rumour or speculation or it could be very well a mistake from the online retailer -wishing it’s not though- you can wish too, who knows it might turn out to be true.
Apple itself has not released any information regarding price and/or availability of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in India yet, so don’t hold your breath for anything that’s all i could suggest right now.
