Nokia has just unveiled the Nokia Asha 501 at a press event in New Delhi, India.This colourful candy bar phone actually looks like a candy from the back, but inside instead of caramel it’s got some silicon and semiconductors for your pleasure.
Nokia Asha 501 technical specs :-
– 1Ghz processor
– Runs on the new “Asha software platform” swipe based UI just like Nokia N9.
– 3 inch QVGA 320×240 capacitive touchscreen with some kind of protective glass on top of it
– 4GB Micro SD card included in every box, upto 32GB expandable, 128mb internal memory
– Single sim, Dual sim will be available in both variants (micro sim)
– No 3g but it has wifi, 2g, edge
– 3.2 MP fiexed focus camera with no flash
– 12.1 mm thick
– 1200mAh battery, 17 hours of talk time
No mention of price yet, but my guess it would be between Rs 5,000-6,000
