Notion Ink Cain is a company that is known to make ‘Adam’ tablets. But their Adam tablets weren’t that successful because of pricing and heavily customized Android OS. So now they are making tablets with Windows 8.1 before Cain 8 they launched Notion Ink Cain 2 in 1 an ultrabook/tablet hybrid at a very reasonable price of 20,000 Rupees.
Notion Ink Cain 8 has 8 inch HD display. For CPU it has Intel Bay Trail Quad-core processor which can go up-to 1.8GHz with Intel HD Graphics. 1GB of RAM which could be a bottleneck in tablet’s performance in my opinion. It comes with full Windows 8.1 and 1 year Microsoft Office 365 subscription. Its internal memory is 16GB out of which you’ll get only 4GB free after full Windows 8.1 and Office installation. You can expand it with a micro SD card it takes up-to 64GB. You can not install apps/software on external memory though, you can only install apps/software on its internal memory which is only 4GB.
Since it comes with full Windows you can install any traditional desktop software on it although its touch compatibility could be questionable. It is a 3G tablet and takes one micro SIM. Voice calling on SIM is not supported. Only internet/data is supported on the SIM. 2MP front and back camera. 4000 mAh battery company is saying you can watch videos on it for 8 hours continuously. It is 9mm thick and weighs 365 grams. More connectivity options include b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 and lastly it costs only 9,990 Rupees roughly around $160. To buy it just follow the link below.
