HTC Desire comes with Mediatek 6752 which consists of octa-core Cortex A53 processors clocked at 1.7GHz and the reason why it is currently the king in lower mid-range chip-sets in terms of performance, Mali T760 GPU. So obviously it’s benchmark performance would be good too.
HTC Desire 626 is a phone that has fooled me twice. How? you may ask. Well, first in the form of HTC Desire 626G and then second time in the form of HTC Dsire 626G+. Both the times i thought that it is the same phone but with a slight name change but it wasn’t. But finally, i got the right one thanks to HTC because now a year later they have decided to finally launch it in India.
HTC One E9s is a decent smartphone. It has got decent features. Decent build quality. Decent camera quality. That’s a lot of ‘decent’ don’t you think? Well, duh. It’s a mid range phone remember? You can’t expect greatness at that price, unless its some company’s flagship phone on fire-sale.
This phone’s processor is under clocked for some reason, i don’t know why they didn’t just give the Mediatek 6752 instead of 6752M but since it has an HD display, you can expect this phone’s benchmark performance to be close to phones like HTC Desire 820s, Sony Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra.
Take an HTC Desire 820s and give it HTC Desire 820’s features like BoomSound speakers, full HTC Sense and a brand new Ultrapixel front camera and what will you get? You will get a HTC One E9s. Or you can do it the other way, the result will still be the same.
Sony Xperia M5 is yet another victim of Sony’s ridiculous pricing. If they had priced it fairly the phone would have been a big hit. But now nobody is even going to consider it not until its price comes down at least. Such a sad fate for such a good phone.
Benchmark performance of Sony Xperia M5 was pretty bad, a test didn’t even run and for some reason, no matter how many times i tried. Sony Xperia M5 only scored just around 40,000 points in Antutu.
