Sony is kind of late in releasing this phone but better late than never. HTC launched a somewhat similar device last year known as HTC Desire 820 but that phone didn’t have the ‘Aqua’ features that this phone has. Everything else is almost the same though even the price.
Some key aspects of this phone are 5 inch display of HD resolution, Snapdragon 615 chip-set, 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 13MP main camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera and 2400 mAh battery. Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Water proof and dust proof up-to a limit.
Sony wouldn’t disclose whether it’s an IPS display or not but after unboxing it, the first thing i noticed was how good the screen’s viewing angles are so i guess it is an IPS LCD display.
It’s a dual sim device(nano SIM). Rest of connectivity options are aGPS, GLONASS, 3G, 4G, NFC, DLNA, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, MRP is set at 24,990 Rupees (Approx $390) by the company but you can it get it from local stores or online for more or less 22,000 Rupees (Approx $345).
