Benchmark performance of Sony Xperia M5 was pretty bad, a test didn’t even run and for some reason, no matter how many times i tried. Sony Xperia M5 only scored just around 40,000 points in Antutu.
In comparison Sony Xperia C5 Ultra with Mediatek MT6752 chip-set scored around 46,000 points in Antutu. Mediatek MT6795 is certainly not weaker than Mediatek MT6752, i guess Antutu is just not optimized for this chip-set yet.

Slingshot test didn’t run and always gave me this ‘unknown’ error.

Unlike benchmark performance, gaming performance of Sony Xperia M5 was flawless. Every game i tried on it ran without any issues at maximum settings and full HD resolution. From GTA San Andreas to Asphalt 8 every game ran at maximum settings without any frame issues or stuttering. As you can see in the video below.
Mediatek MT6795 comes with Power VR Rogue G6200 GPU not Mali GPU and even though Mali GPUs like the one inside Mediatek 6752 isn’t weak from any point of view but these ‘Rogue’ series GPUs from Imagination Technologies are some of the most powerful GPUs available in the market currently. Hence the reason, why this phone’s gaming performance is so good.
