Sony just revealed Xperia Z Ultra and believe me it really deserves the ultra moniker. Look for yourself in the specs below, everything about this smarthphone tablet hybrid(STH) is ultra.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra key specs :
-6.44 inch 1080p full hd display with Sony’s proprietary Triluminous and X-Reality tech (note- it’s not bravia engine anymore, it’s X-Reality which is only used in Sony’s high end televisions and triluminous technology for better viewing angles and colour production).
-2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 Gpu.
-Runs on Android 4.2.2 jellybean.
-It’s water and dust resistant ofcourse.
-Only 6.5mm thick. It weighs 212 grams, kind of on the heavy side.
-8 MP camera at the back which can shoot 1080p videos, It has Exmor RS technology, HDR and other bells and whistles. Oh and it doesn’t have flash by the way( I know what you are thinking “What the hell Sony!?” ).
-16GB inbuilt memory out of which only 11 GB will be available for the user, also a micro sd card slot which takes upto 64GB.
-The battery is upped to 3000mAh.
-Price is not announced, it is expected to release in Q3, 2013.
See i told you everything about this monster shouts ultra from its screen to processor. Just if i could get a phone with these specs in a smaller form factor say with a 4.7 inches screen or maximum 5 inches with hardware capacitive touch buttons. Well, One can dream.
