HTC Desire 626 is a phone that is quite late to the party. If HTC has launched it last year with the same price it would have been a big hit. But now even this lower mid-range segment is very crowded with phones with the same chip-set as this phone. Anyway, better late than never i guess.
HTC Desire 626 is a phone that has fooled me twice. How? you may ask. Well, first in the form of HTC Desire 626G and then second time in the form of HTC Dsire 626G+. Both the times i thought that it is the same phone but with a slight name change but it wasn’t. But finally, i got the right one thanks to HTC because now a year later they have decided to finally launch it in India.
Yeah! Feel it! Whom need a high end phone when you can get this kind of performance at less than half the price of a flagship phone. The price which is only going to come down further. HTC Desire 820s is both a very big upgrade in terms of performance and downgrade in terms of software when compared to the original 820 though. If you don’t know what i am talking about, read on.
For 10,000 Rupees name one phone that is not from a ‘local brand’ and which could come close to this phone in terms of performance? That’s right, there is none. There’s no phone from the ‘traditional’ smartphone makers like Samsung, Sony that could compete with this phone performance wise. And that is also the reason why people are preferring local branded phones over those non performing over priced phones from international companies.
HTC Desire 620G is just like HTC Desire 616 an affordable Octacore smartphone from HTC but the former is much more complete than the later one actually. HTC Desire 616 felt like HTC rushed to launch an affordable Octacore smartphone. It came with only 4GB of internal storage and HTC Sense version 5.5 which had some bugs. While HTC Desire 620G feels like much more polished device. As it comes with more internal storage, 5MP front camera and non under clocked chipset, all for a very attractive price.
