I had two choices to make this video. A simple plain one like i always do or slightly different. I selected slightly different. Because everybody else has already made that plain kind of unboxing video anyway. But, since i selected to do that ‘different’ kind of unboxing. I missed out on giving any kind of info on the device. So, i am going to tell you about the device in brief here.
Let me give you a important information first. Xiaomi recently revealed on its official facebook page that all the Xiaomi Mi3s sold in India comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. With every good news comes a little bad news. Although i wouldn’t call it bad. And this news didn’t come from Xiaomi. It is coming from me. The outer shell or plastic casing of the phone is very delicate or soft. It feels like its made of very cheap material. I applied a little pressure around the sim tray area and the plastic literally start to peel of, like i said its very delicate. The inner frame pretty is solid though. You can see that in the photo below.
Also, if you look at one of the photos in which i am holding it sideways, you will see a faint white light coming out of a very tiny gap between the screen and the casing. It seems like it was made in a rush or something. But anyway, i ain’t gonna complain much because of two reasons, the price and what you are getting for that price.
