As promised, here’s an unboxing of a non HTC phone. The Sony Xperia E4G is the newest entry in Sony’s entry level line up and also its E series. This phone may look like a mini E4 dual but from the inside it is entirely different, to know the differences read on.
Sony Xperia E4G has an entirely different chipset than E4 and it might be the most powerful ‘budget’ smartphone that Sony has ever made. It comes with Mediatek MT6732 chipset which is the quad-core version of Mediatek MT6752, the GPU inside both the chipsets is still the same, making the MT6732 almost as powerful as MT6752 in terms of gaming performance at least.
Rest of its specifications aren’t that great though. Screen wise, it comes with 4.7 inches display of qHD resolution with scratch resistant glass on top. In the camera department it has only 5MP rear facing camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. 8GB of internal storage(expandable), 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sony Xperia UI on top. 2300 mAh battery. And the battery is non-removable. 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, dual sim(micro sim) are some of its main connectivity options. Price is around 12,000 Rupees(approx $200). You can see the rest of it in the photos and unboxing video below.
