I was just scrolling through my email and then i saw this. As you can see it’s a new phone with 5 inch qHD display from Karbonn. The special thing about it is its price. Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra is exclusively available on ebay.in as of now. I think this is the cheapest ever smartphone launched at least in India with a 5 inch display and a decent chipset.

You can call Sony Xperia E3 the ‘meh’ phone. Meh because, the kind of specs this phone has you’d probably have heard of thousand times before. The only thing special about Xperia E3 is its price and the fact that it is made by Sony. Which is not so special any more. But at least its build quality is better than most of the similarly priced devices.
Sony Xperia E3 Unboxing
Sony Xperia E3 is just another smartphone with Snapdragon 400 chipset but if you compare it with similarly priced phones from Samsung, HTC, Microsoft/Nokia then you’ll see that for the price it is not that bad. But if you compare it with octa-core smartphones from local companies then you might not even want to look at it. Sony should’ve collaborated with Google and made this an Android One smartphone. It would’ve sold like hot cakes just because of its design and build quality alone.
Micromax Canvas A1 is one of the three smartphones that is launched under the ‘Android One’ program in India. The rest two are Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice Dream Uno. The Android One program itself is launched in India first with more ‘develping countries’ to follow. All the phones under this program looks almost the same and have similar software & hardware specs. Especially software because its being supervised by Google itself.
Nokia X2 and Semi-Android phones like these could have saved Nokia. I know these are big words. But you never know. If they have launched Android smartphones with their PureView camera technology. It surely would’ve been a big hit. I know that they hated the initial version of Android but to save itself even Apple shook hands with Microsoft at one point. To survive you’ve got to make hard decisions.
Nokia X2 Unboxing
Nokia X2 is a phone that has no future. Its parent company after giving it birth, couldn’t support it. So it(infact the whole company) got adopted by other big rich company. But they abandoned it too. Poor Nokia X2… it has such a tragic story. Ever read about a smartphone from such an emotional point of view? I bet you haven’t! You can find such occurance here on Aetomatic only.
If yes, then why? And if this price reducing trend continues then i am pretty sure whenever Xiaomi Redmi Note launches it is going to be 1,000 Rupees cheaper. Which means it is going to cost 9,000 Rupees not 10,000, even better. Anyway, coming back to the question, why? When Xiaomi Mi3 first launched it became a no brainer at that price. But Redmi 1s is not. Let me tell you why.
