Micromax Canvas A1 Benchmark & Gaming Performance

Screenshot_2014-09-19-13-06-19For Rs. 6,000 or $100 you can’t expect better benchmark and gaming performance than Micromax Canvas A1 or any of the three Android One smartphones, from the inside they are all the same after all. And Antutu failed to differentiate between entry level and high end smartphone again maybe because it only reads what’s inside not what the phone actually look like. Wish people were like Antutu too. Anyway, I ran a new benchmark this time to measure the 3D performance of the device, it’s called ‘Anomaly 2’ just like 3DMark it is also a gaming benchmark.

Like i said, this is best you can get in terms of gaming for 6,000 Rupees. It even beat the former champion Micromax Canvas Unite 2 in gaming. You’ll have absolutely no problems installing and playing big graphic intensive games on this phone. All thanks to the Android One program and proper software optimization and the fact that it runs on stock Android improves the over all fluidity in game-play. It does come with move to SD feature. And this might be the only $100 phone in this world that can run GTA San Andreas on maximum settings without any noticeable lag, a bit glitchy though.
